Some other weekend me and Veronika went to see the Movium, an exhibition of real props from English movie studious. It was quite promising, but turned out to be not that exciting or engaging. Oh well… At least we had a chance to see the real (well, if you can ever call movie props ‘real’) stuff from such movies as Alien, Sunshine, James Bond, Sherlock Holmes, Star Wars and quite few other. So many of the items are just made of… wood, yep, painted wood (like a number of ‘Nikon‘ cameras or agent 007’s accessories :).

But my personal favorite was the spacesuit from the Danny Boyle’s thriller Sunshine (see below). You remember the one, that looked like Kenny’s hoodie from South Park? So guess what? It is wrapped around with a foil, kind of kitchen foil, but golden looking one :)
